Are you tormented by interesting new information about your friend, is she asking to be told to the rest of your friends? Do you feel like gossiping about others behind them in order to attract attention in the company or to make yourself a more interesting person? You may find it tempting to tell a funny story about your friend or the awkward moment that happened to him, but your friend will not like it. In fact, your friend will only think about how good you are to him and how tactless you are.
If you are talking about your friends behind their backs, think about how they are likely to feel about it. Before you give out another piece of information, stop and think about what you are doing. Then make an agreement with yourself that you will forever stop talking about friends behind their backs.
