This is not entirely safe, since everything that is laid out in a public resource can fall into the hands of third parties: site owners or scammers. If this happens, then you will compromise not only the information from the document, but also your own signature. It is unlikely that the risk is justified by the fact that such services are cheap or even free.

If you sign a PDF in a stationary program, then not a single element of business information will go beyond your computer, and confidentiality will be respected. If your type of document does not require the imposition of an electronic digital signature - an electronic digital signature (an individual code for identifying documents), then it can be easily endorsed by a conventional graphic signature using the Movavi PDF editor. Let's see how to sign a PDF document on your computer in three ways.

Adding a signature to a document

If you sent a document for signing using Adobe Sign, you will receive an email notification with a link to add a signature to the document. In addition, if you use the Acrobat DC application or the Acrobat Reader DC desktop application, you will see a notification that the document was sent to you for signing.

To sign a document sent to you using Adobe Sign, do one of the following:

Step 3. Change the document

To sign a PDF document, click Editing on the toolbar and select the option Picture. In the dialog box, specify the file with your signature - the program imports the image into the current document. Using the corner markers, adjust the size of the picture and move it to the desired area of ​​the page. In the same way, you can add a print or stamp image to the document.

Add a signature using the link in the email

Click the link to the document received in the email to sign. The document opens in a web browser window.

Click on the fields and enter all the requested information.

Click on the signature field. If this is your first time signing a document, the Signature panel or the Initials panel is displayed.

  • Keyboard. Enter your name in the box. Several signature styles are available to choose from. Click Change Style to view a different style.
  • Pen. Put a handwritten signature in the box.
  • Picture. Find and select the image of your signature.
  • Mobile device. Select this option to add a signature on your mobile device. Enter your mobile number and click Submit. A link will be sent to your mobile device. Click the link. A page in a web browser will open on your mobile device, where you can sign with a pen or add a signature image.
  • Save. If this check box is selected and you are registered with Acrobat Reader or Acrobat, the added signature is stored securely in Adobe Document Cloud for reuse.

Add a signature using the Acrobat / Reader desktop application

In Acrobat DC or Adobe Reader DC, click the main. In section General access click For signature. All contracts sent or received for signing are displayed.

Double-click the document that is waiting to be signed, or select a document and click Subscribe in the panel on the right. The document will open.

Step 4. Save the signed document

If you want to save changes to the source file, click on the image of the diskette in the upper left. If you want to make two versions of the document: with and without a signature, open the menu File, also in the upper left corner, and select the option Save asto set the name of the new copy. You have received a certified version of your document.

PDF Signing

To sign a PDF document or form, you can enter, draw, or paste your signature image. You can also add text, such as name, company, title, or date. When you save the document, the signature and text become part of the PDF document.

You can also take a photo of your signature using a mobile device using the Adobe Acrobat Reader mobile application, and then save it to the Adobe Document Cloud. Procedure for adding a signature to a PDF document

Open the PDF or form you want to sign.

Click the Sign icon on the toolbar. Or select Instruments > Fill out and sign or click Fill out and sign in the panel on the right.

The Fill and Sign tool is displayed. Click I.

Form fields are automatically detected. Hover over a field to display a blue field. Click anywhere in the blue box (the cursor will automatically be set to the correct position). Enter text in the box.

Click icon Signing on the toolbar and select what you want to add - a signature or only initials.

If a signature or initials has already been added, they are displayed as options for selection.

If you have already added a signature or initials, select it in the signature options, then click in the place of the PDF document where you want to insert the signature. Skip this step.

If this is your first time signing a document, the Signature panel or the Initials panel is displayed. The following is an example of the Signature panel.

  • Keyboard. Enter your name in the box. Several signature styles are available to choose from. Click Change Style to view a different style.
  • Pen. Put a handwritten signature in the box.
  • Picture. Find and select the image of your signature.
  • Save signature. If this check box is selected and you are registered with Acrobat Reader or Acrobat, the added signature is stored securely in Adobe Document Cloud for reuse.

Press button To apply, then click in the place in the PDF where you want to add a signature or initials.

To move a signature or initials, press a field to highlight it, and use the arrow keys. To resize or delete a field, use the options on the field toolbar.

To use a signature image:

  • Put your signature in black pen on a blank white sheet of paper. The signature should be placed in the middle of the paper so that there are no edges when creating or scanning the picture.
  • Take a photo or scan the signature. When photographing a signature, make sure that the page is properly lit and that the shadow does not fall on the signature.
  • Transfer the photo to a computer or scan the image. Acrobat / Reader supports JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIFF, TIF, and BMP files. No cropping required. If the photo or scanned image is clear enough, Acrobat / Reader will import only the signature.

Step 3. Verify the document with a signature

In the toolbar, click on the icon Editing and select the option Signature. In the appeared window for adding a signature, set the color and width of the line. Then use your mouse to draw a painting and click Add.

Position the resulting image on the desired section of the document and adjust the signature size with one of the corner markers.

Obtaining signatures from other users using Adobe Sign

You can receive documents signed by other users using the “Fill and Sign” tool, which works on the basis of Adobe Sign cloud services. This speeds up the process: signatories can sign a document from anywhere in the world through a web browser or mobile device. Signatories will not be required to enter credentials or purchase any Adobe program to sign documents.

Signers receive an email requesting them to sign documents. After signing up, you and the signers will receive the signed PDF document by email. You can track the entire signing process in Acrobat DC or Acrobat Reader DC. To do this, select Home> For Signing.

Step 3. Draw a signature

Click on the icon Editing and in the drop-down list, select Signature. In the window that opens, enter the signature with your finger or an electronic pen and tap Add. Next, move the signature to the desired location on the page and adjust the size.

  7. After opening, we make sure that the CryptoPro PDF module is connected in Acrobat Pro DC, for this it is enough
